Well today I headed off to a local reserve not far from me, as the weather forecast was favorable for blue skies and light winds a rarity from the past few weeks of wet and miserable weather.

My intention was just to head down and photograph the common birds the water birds etc enjoying a nice day out with my camera photographing the wildlife and just seeing how the reserve has changed since it has been flooded several times this winter.

The day started off photographing the barn owl, before moving on to the Reed beds to photograph the Reed buntings and any other wildlife that may be down there.

As the morning went on I made my way around the waterways photographing the ducks and geese, before heading off towards the woodpecker trees, as I made my way round I was surprised to find a , which took me by surprise I instantly got low to the ground and set my camera up ready to photograph owl as it was flying around looking for a tasty vole.

All in all a fantastic day at this location with plenty of excellent photos and video to share with you all.
