This client brought in their Prius and told us they had started to smell fuel and it has been running rough. We got it in the shop and found that it had a very strong fuel smell and a code for Cylinder 1 Misfire. We assumed they were probably related to each other. Turns out this one wasn’t super difficult but we don’t know what we are getting into when filming, so we used this as a good opportunity to show some strategies with ignition waveform and other tools you can use to look at misfires.
