Searching for clues, I discovered a couple of personal notes and obituary letters that said this.
We just came from your funeral. The flowers were fabulous! The tributes are moving. The church beautiful. The music lovely. We laughed and cried together. Clifford described you vividly in an outfit that defined you. Your brother stood at the door with his hat and handlebar mustache, politely holding the door as we hugged him. Your sister elegantly brought it all together. One of a kind, a true artist, a gatherer of people, unforgettable, a dancer, leader, connector, lover of the earth, true Christian" your friends said of you. I sat near the back and listened to all the love expressed around me. The rain poured down in torrents. The church was packed. You were too briefly with us, Audrey, but you shined like a comet. We will miss you and your light. Shine on, darling.
I also stumbled across an obituary paper that said the following.
Audrey was born in the southeast on February 10, 1957. She attended high school in her local County. Her childhood was spent learning the art of southern gardening under the tutelage of her grandmother and greataunts. With this knowledge, she graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, and in 1984, she opened her own landscaping company. Audrey's unique skills allowed her to participate in many prestigious projects. She designed gardens for the Museum of Fine Arts, numerous real estate plazas, and private residences throughout the southeast. Audrey was also a gifted floral designer, sharing her talent for weddings and celebrations. Audrey understood the importance of design complimenting the natural environment. Her life was dramatically centered around her devout faith in Christ. Her experiences influenced all who knew her.
I also found out Audrey passed away in 2006, but something doesn't add up. It's 2024, and this house still has power. There's hardly any dust, and the house looks like someone just left yesterday. I know for a fact that other family members, including her husband, have lived here. The house and lawn are well maintained. So my question is, where did everybody go, and who maintains the house? Now, I ask you, my subscribers, to come inside with me, and let's search for clues.
