This episode features all the damage to our forest from the recent Bomb Cyclone that hit western Washington a few days ago. We lost power and we lost about a dozen large trees in the forest. The trees were for the most part violently broken off between 6 and 20 feet from the ground. The noises when the wind hit sounded like massive fireworks. We thought it was going to be crazy when we went to look but we had no idea the damage would be so extensive.

There was no damage to the fences but the trails and forest floor are littered with trees and tree branches.
