This was a very brief session for me 07:00 to around 11:00 during late Jul23 with the river level up on average summer conditions due to heavy recent rainfall.

I choose to fish the margin (due to conditions) which produces Barbel and Chub bites out of the nearside edge Not the most prolific of sessions but still very enjoyable to get a few hours out on the bank.

A few changes made to recent sessions, with shorter hooklengths used, strong smelling hookbaits, no groundbait or feeders (due to the increased flow) with 3oz leads.
