Cutting a 56 tooth gear 5.1mm diameter on a watchmaker's lathe

1. Sorry for the shakiness and jerkyness of the first part of this video. Neither my camera holder nor the cabinet on which my lathe sits is very steady. This makes the video footage at time seem shaky.

2. You'll note in the last clip that while the gears work together, they are not well matched. They work because the pinion is driving the wheel. If the wheel was driving the pinion, it would not work. I need the gear ratio of 10 to 56, so to have this mesh correctly I will need a slightly smaller pinion and a slightly larger wheel.
