Crispy Potato Balls | Creamy Potato Bites | Potato Pops

Potatoes. They have got to be among the most popularly liked vegetables! People rarely say no to a potato dish/snack :) Here is a crisp but creamy potato snack, that just melts on your tongue as you bite into it. Along with the grated boiled potatoes and a bit of cheese, it has a thick creamy sauce that combines the ingredients together making it quite different. These can also be shallowfried as patties.

Recipe Notes:
After crumbcoating the potato bites, refrigerate them (no need to freeze) for at least 10 minutes, and fry just when ready to serve.
These can be prepared without the outer covering (as spheres/cubes) and kept frozen for a couple of months. When the needs arises, get them out of the freezer, just prepare the crisp crumb covering and fry!

Ingredients:
2 Large Potatoes, boiled, peeled and grated
30 grams of Cheese (can be adjusted; I used processed cheese)
1 Tablespoon Oil
2 Tablespoons Butter
45 cloves of Garlic, finely chopped
Crushed Black Peppercorns, as desired
3 Tablespoons of AllPurpose flour (Maida)
1 cup Milk (uncooked)
Salt to taste
2 teaspoons of Red Chili Flakes
2 Tablespoons of fresh Coriander

For the crisp crumb covering:
A little Allpurpose flour (Maida)
1 beaten and seasoned Egg
Breadcrumbs, as required
Oil for greasing and frying
