A fascinating run starting by working our way through the docks and the streets of Grimsby. We couldn’t have picked a better day to amble along the North Lincolnshire countryside. The sky was blue and for miles we run alongside a major canal lovely. We cross the ECML at “Donny” and on through Sheffield and the Hope Valley where it wasn’t fit to throw the cat out. You’ll also see a rare cab view of the Hazel Grove Chord and you can see what it’s like when you have to wait for other trains!
