Thank you, Farmer Derek, for the live cams, allowing us to observe wildlife on the farm, and Bonnie & Clyde, Great Horned Owls ❗
➡ This cam and nest are located in Peabody, Kansas. Links below the time stamps for Farmer Derek's social media.
Video opens with Farmer Derek in the bucket truck, going up to make repairs to the storm ravaged nest. Farmer Derek also removes the overhead cam. (My understanding is the overhead cam will be moved to the deer feeder. The cam at the deer feeder is a PTZ and will be moved to the eagle nest.) Farmer Derek also returned later in the afternoon to add two supports, not shown in this video.
Bonnie and Clyde visited the nest tree later, with Clyde under the nest, then on the middle branch. Bonnie was not in view. Both are clearly heard hooting. We will watch for the owls to visit the nest. Time stamps below, plus on screen captions.
Storm video 72124; storm almost removed the nest.

The last time I heard one of the juvies was 91424; the last time one was in cam view was 91124. The juvies are in the window where they may disperse, or they could possibly stay until the start of the next nesting season (January/February). Most are belived to disperse when the courting season starts for the adults. Time will tell.
