This is an update on the injured shark I first spotted in August 2020. I've spent the last 5 months in search of it, finally finding it in late January 2021. This video documents its injuries and a few unique encounters with birds.
Special thanks to the California State University, Long Beach Shark Lab. I reached out to Dr. Chris Lowe, Director of the Shark Lab for comments about this shark and for an assessment on this sharks chances of surviving in the future.
