On this episode, I decide to cancel my flight home from California and do something I have always wanted to do, drive Route 66. We start in Santa Monica, CA where Route 66 ends and drive east. We stay on the original route (whats left of it) and try an see all the land marks that are still standing. We make it to Amarillo, TX and decide we flat out don't have enough time to make it home and finish our journey on Route 66. We then travel south to see some friends in San Antonio, TX before bolting back home by Friday night. We plan on picking back up on the route in Amarillo at a later date and drive something far cooler than a rental car.
