Sadly, replacing bump stops alone did not resolve the issue with springs overarticulating. The stock springs on my 2005 Chevy Astro are just not up to the task of offroad travel while fully loaded.
So it was time for a suspension upgrade. I labored over the decision for a couple of weeks on which springs to go with… in this video I explain a bit why I went the way I did, and walk through the installation not just of leaf spring replacement, but also installing a Ubolt mod to mount the new taller spring pack as well as how I am dealing with some of the complications that go along with that.
