Alan Watt's discusses the problem with our materialistic society. He discusses how our society is meant for an agricultural based society that is actually an industrial based society. He also discusses how kids have fake toys and how when the culture was based around agriculture and meant for kids to work with their parents in the real world on the farms. He says how it frustrates kids how they have fake everything and that is junk that barely works, which is the reason for a lot of kid's frustration's.

Alan Wilson Watts was a prolific philosopher, was a British writer and speaker known for interpreting Buddhism, Taoism, and Hinduism for a Western audience. Born in Chislehurst, England, he moved to the United States in 1938 and began Zen training in New York.
