Get ready for an unforgettable adventure at Gulf State Park, an incredible gem on the Gulf Coast of Alabama! Our threenight stay offers just a glimpse of this amazing park, which feels more like a luxurious resort than a typical campground. After departing from our Harvest Host, we journeyed four hours south to this bustling paradise, where we settled into a spacious backin RV site with full hookups, including electric, water, and sewer.
Dinner calls, and we couldn’t resist the famous Pink Pony Pub right on the beach. Delicious food, gulf breezes, and stunning views from their deck made for the perfect evening, followed by some fun beachwear shopping before returning to our campsite and furry friends.
The next day, we set out on what was meant to be a 6mile hike, but the adventure took us further—8 miles of incredible trails and unexpected twists! Gulf State Park offers so much to explore, from bikefriendly boardwalks and hiking trails to serene freshwater lakes and resortstyle amenities like a pool, splash pad, and Nature Center.
Join us as we dive into this RVer’s paradise, showcasing why this park is a mustsee destination for RV travelers, state park vacationers, and day trippers.
