Beau was on egg duty in the late afternoon and was happily incubating the egg when Gabby returned at dusk! And once again, she returns with a huge crop! She talks softly to Beau who didn't want to get up at first. Her soft chittering finally won out and Beau gets up does some aerating around the egg and then goes to sunset branch and further up the tree.

Ten minutes later, Gabby gets up and contractions begin! She does her tea kettle whistle again and has a short labor lasting only three minutes before she delivers egg #2 (NE31) Gabby will turn around and we will get to see her beautiful two eggs! She stands up for awhile and gives us some great views of the eggs, she rolls them and rolls again and then finally settling down to sleep! And boy was Gabby tired! She fell right asleep on the nest face down. Bless her heart ♥

Congratulations to Gabby & Beau on their second egg! Egg #2 was laid at 6:22pm and four days after she laid egg#1 (Dec 8th 5:56pm). There are cheers and well wishes from many of the AEF NEFL eagles viewers who have been elated to see Gabby & Beau start off the season with a bang!
