This is the what we have all waited and hoped to see happen Beau coming to the nest and getting acquainted with the egg, rolling it and incubating it!! What an amazing morning at the Hamlet!

Gabby wakes up and heads to the wallenda branch and has Good Morning vocals with Beau. She flies off for a break and Beau comes down to the nest and he goes to the egg! He rolls it, he digs around the egg pulling up a little moss and then more rolling back and forth. After about 14 minutes of prep time, Beau will shimmy down onto the egg and incubate it like a pro! Beau will incubate the egg for about an hour and take a quick break and come back for longer incubation time,

Many viewers have never given up on Beau (myself included) choosing to believe that over the course of the past year, Gabby & Beau did form a strong bond and it just took a little longer for Beau's youth and inexperience to catch up to Gabby. Beau successfully was seen mating on a branch a couple of days ago and it sure looked like he has figured out the mating aspect well. It appears that Beau's hormones are turning from testosterone and adrenals to prolactin and that brings about the urge to incubate the egg. I am so proud of Beau and Gabby there has been so much growth and maturity taking place this season & Beau has made great advance in his skills today. Things are starting to align for our couple they are not in sync yet like they should be but that will come in time too. I am happy for Beau and Gabby as we watch and take it one day at a time! ♥ Never stop believing! Thank you for watching!
