This was a beautiful moment and a great way to end the day with Beau flying in and seeing Gabby incubating the egg. He drops to the nest and Gabby is softly cooing and gets up and lets Beau see the egg and then incubate it! This is the first time that Gabby has actually seen Beau incubate the egg! Gabby flies over to the wallenda branch to take a break and preen and Beau rolls the egg just like a pro and settles down on it like the most natural thing in the world ♥

Beau would have incubated the egg for longer but Gabby was ready to get back on the egg. She started in with her vocals and inched closer to the nest while Beau was up rolling the egg. She flies back to the nest and lets him know that it is now her time to incubate the egg. Beau stayed on the nest for several minutes keeping himself busy but it was a priceless moment with him looking at her after she settled back down on the egg ♥ Gabby was also protective of her egg the first season with Samson.

It really does not matter how long it takes for Beau to get there we are watching a wonderful journey take place before our eyes and I am proud of both Gabby and Beau tonight! Beau is spending the night on sunset branch perhaps he will do more incubating tomorrow! Thank you for watching!
