When Melissa and her husband arrived at the shelter, the cat acted like the most miserable, desperate, unloved pet in the world. And even though the couple didn't want a third cat, Otie's behavior made them reconsider.
Now Otie is living with a loving family. He still pretends to be the saddest cat in the world to get treats, but his owners don't fall for it. Well, not every time! But they are very happy that Otie tricked them the first time at the shelter.
