In an attempt to return to New York, the animals that had escaped from the Central Park Zoo end up falling into a forest reserve in the heart of Africa. There they come across, for the first time, other specimens like them, which ends up generating some identity conflicts, especially in Alex, who discovers that he is a descendant of a royal family.
