With their mama short on milk and only six working nipples for seven kittens, I’m stepping in to help. This time, I brought out the big guns—a 20ml syringe with a soft little nipple tip. It seemed like a great idea, but… it’s a bit tricky for the kittens to suck milk from something so large! I’m careful not to press the plunger, but that means the kittens have to work extra hard. Sweet little Lulu especially needs her extra feedings to catch up in weight, and she’s giving it her best shot. They’re all so determined, though, and they still happily drink up every drop.
