I will never know how Pixi ended up in that location, but I am so happy Hope For Paws received the call to help him. Pixi has heterochromia (a condition that causes cats to have different colored eyes, and it can also affect dogs and humans).
This little guy never had human contact, so I had to go slow so he wouldn't panic and try to run away. I also wanted to protect my fingers from injury so I could continue to my next rescue in one piece.
To help send me on the next rescue mission, please join the Hope For Paws team with a small donation: https://www.HopeForPaws.org
I asked our Instagram followers to suggest a name for him, and Pixi (dust) seemed perfect. If you are not following us on Instagram yet, here is the link for you:   / hopeforpawsrescue Â
After the rescue, Pixi met Dutch, a Xoloitzcuintli (pronounced show·low·uht·skwint·lee, also known as a Mexican Hairless dog), and together they shared a yummy snack.
Afterwards, Pixi wanted to meet more dogs, so he asked to meet Paddington. Loreta will post a few cute clips of them together here:   / xoxopaddington Â
Our friends at Purrmaid Cafe' and Adoption Center offered to foster little Pixi and find him a loving forever home. You can visit all their cats here: https://www.PurrmaidCatCafe.com or even better at their physical location: 5800 Santa Rosa Rd. Camarillo, CA 93012
Thank you so much for helping us save these precious little lives. â€
