This cat is called Kefir. He is a Maine Coons cat, he is about 3 years old and is probably one of the biggest cats in the world. He lives with his owner Yulia in Russia. Yulia brought him from shelter when he was a little kitten and immediately fell in love with his beautiful white fur. She named him Kefir, after a popular Russian dairy drink made from fermented milk, because she thought the playful name was perfect for his coat.
Kefir grew so big that people often mistake him for a dog when they see him out for a walk. Despite his extraordinary size and intimidating appearance, he has a very gentle nature. He is a very intelligent, affectionate, sensitive and curious cat.
