I spent 8 days alone in Wabakimi on a solo camping and canoe journey in the Boreal Forest, in the worlds largest canoeing reserve. In Wabakimi you have to be ready for everything, wild thunderstorms, insane bugs and rough untamed wilderness. But with these challenges comes the reward of solitude, knowing that you're the only one around for miles.

On this trip I canoe through the large lakes in Wabakimi starting from Little Caribou lake and making my way up to Whitewater lake before circling back down to finish the loop.
