In this video we will go thru installing the GM ACDelco cabin air filter retrofit kit on a 2013 Chevrolet Avalanche LT. This truck, like many other models of the model year range in the video title, were originally built with a cabin air filter delete plastic housing. Due to high customer complaint volume about the removal of this air quality health option, GM released a retrofit kit and cabin air filters in 2014 to add this maintenance feature back onto selected GM trucks and sport utility vehicles (SUVs) including the Cadillac Escalade EXT, Cadillac Escalade, Cadillac Escalade ESV, Chevrolet Avalanche, Chevrolet Suburban, Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra, GMC Yukon, GMC Yukon XL, and Chevrolet Tahoe.

The truck illustrated is a 2013 Chevrolet Avalanche LT, but the procedure, as well as the genuine GM parts, shown in this video would be applicable for any GMT900 style 2007 thru 2014 truck or SUV originally built with a cabin air filter delete, such as the Chevrolet Avalanche, Chevrolet Suburban, or Chevrolet Tahoe.
