In Episode 115 of CARS, SHOPS & COLLECTIONS we visit Barry to see his 1976 Chevrolet Cosworth Vega! One of the rarest Chevy’s ever made.

PLUS Barry shows us his 1964 Triumph Spitfire that his father owned. Barry has had his Triumph fully restored and the stories behind this Triumph are incredible! Find out how this car is connected to Carroll Shelby and the famous Terlingua Challenge!

Barry spent over 30 years in the Navy and during that time he managed to own a total of Three Cosworth Vega’s (Including his first one that he bought new in 1976). It was a treat spending the afternoon with Barry as he dropped plenty of facts and knowledge about the Cosworth Vega.

When Chevy first introduced the Cosworth Vega 'Car and Drive' said all of them will be collectors items… Years later, Car & Driver called the CosVega one of the Top 10 Best Collectible Cars!

They were only made for two years… 1975 & 1976! Only 3,508 were made!

Owning a Cosworth Vega today is like having a piece of automotive history a rare and dazzling blend of American style and British engineering!

THANK YOU for watching ‘Cars, Shops & Collections!’ Each week we put the spotlight on unique cars and the people behind them!
