Gabby comes to the Wallenda branch int he wee hours of the morning. She tucks in and stays the rest of the night. She poofs out during a cam skip in the morning. Nobirdy is around all day until Beau arrives at the nest early evening. He moves a stick around and after some crop drops he goes to the lookout branch for about a half hour. He then moves to the nest right before Gabby arrives with a stick. They work on the nest for a couple of minutes and then Beau moves to the sunset branch. Gabby flies out shortly after and comes back in a few minutes with another stick. Beau hops down to help Gabby but watches her from the nest edge, before moving over to the lookout branch. Gabby leaves a few minutes later and is right back with another stick. She works on stick placements for about 10 minutes and leaves. Beau leaves a couple minutes later. Gabby's back again with stick #4, and while she's working on moving sticks Beau arrives to help. He helps for a few minutes and moves to the sunset branch. Gabby stays a few minutes and leaves. She's back shortly after with another stick. After she places it, it starts to rain and she leaves after about 15 minutes, but is right back with another stick. Beau comes back in and is vocalizing softly at Gabby from the nest edge. He watches her and keeps reaching for her while she works on the nest, but she wards him off. He tries to help on the nest but Gabby is in control. Beau leaves and Gabby stays and keeps working on the nest. She gives the nest bowl a test and then flies off after a few more nest adjustments. About 5 minutes later she's back for a quick nest check, and then moves to the cam pole branch where she eventually tucks in. About 9:30 p.m. Gabby goes back for another nest check and then moves to the sunset branch. About 10 minutes later she's back on the nest for another nest check, then to the sunset branch. A couple of hours later she's back to the nest for yet another quick check, before moving back to the cam pole branch. Maybe she'll rest there for a while?
